At that time, the sunflower was harvested with the help of our combine, and now, under the protection of our warriors, they are finishing the winter wheat harvest. The "Kyrychenko M" farm received a New Holland CX6.90 combine for their use.

Mr. Oleh, the chief agronomist of the farm, explains that this year's harvest is not very encouraging, as the May frosts and three months without rain have taken their toll.

In addition to natural factors, there are also more dangerous ones - the front line and active combat are very close. Therefore, farmers are taking a great risk, as at any moment, they could lose their carefully nurtured crops due to enemy shelling.

A lot of effort has been put into growing these crops. The farm's lands were under occupation until the fall of 2022. After that came the stage of recovery and demining. Some fields were demined with their own efforts, and some with the help of the state. However, they managed to reclaim only about 70% of the lands.

The choice of crops for planting has also changed. For example, this year, the farm did not plant rapeseed at all. Due to the danger of shelling, they cannot carry out the main operations with this crop on time, as rapeseed requires precision in planting, processing, and harvesting.

Currently, the plan is to move the equipment away from the front line due to frequent shelling and to harvest the sunflower.

The farmers hope for further assistance. Mr. Oleh notes that their farm has never received such strong support as from the "Victory Harvest" foundation.

"It's difficult, hard, and dangerous, but we continue our work. We believe that we will continue to work on our native land, we believe in our country, we believe in our Armed Forces," he concludes.

Thank you for your resilience and courage! We are always with you and will continue to help!
