Changes to restrictions on the movement of large-sized equipment.
The issue of the movement of agricultural machinery, the dimensions of which exceed the width of 2.6 m, has gained wide resonance among farmers, because last year the drivers of such vehicles were brought to administrative responsibility on the basis of the lack of a corresponding permit of the National Police.
On May 31, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the draft law dated October 5, 2021 No. 6070-1, which removes contradictions between regulatory acts and allows the movement of large-sized equipment on roads outside villages, towns, and cities without the permission of the National Police.
Thus, according to Clause 3 of Section II "Final and Transitional Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine No. 2296-IX, from June 17, 2022, the movement (movement) of agricultural machinery outside the boundaries of settlements, along the roads of villages, towns, and cities is carried out without restrictions on the dimensions of such vehicles means accompanied by a cover vehicle of the business entity. Such agricultural machinery and cover vehicles are equipped with flashing orange beacons without permission to install them.
